A couple of them have interesting takes on HOS, though, such as having to use the objects you already found to interact with and find further objects in the scene. Some of them have interesting art and storylies that are a bit different than the normal stuff you see in these types of games. However, the real star of the bundle, and the reason to get this, at least when it's sale, is Other Side: Tower of Souls. It has a very different story line with some really off-th-wall characters that you have to figure out how to defeat. The cheshire cat buddy you have to help you out is kind of funny, and there's even a shop where you spend paw print coins you find throughout the game to get hint recharge items. The Other Side is very replayable, especially if like me you select expert mode and realize that it is actually quite difficult and have to skip a couple of mini games (that stupid moon puzzle argh). I'm going to have to go back and play easy mode to see if I can beat them for the achievements and also to find nearly 20 of the 100 paw prints I somehow missed I the game despite diligent searching. The only negative to this game is there is a *lot* of reading, long journal entries everywhere, endless dialogue, which is a crutch by game designers to data dump the story on players. Also too many long cutscenes, nearly every new screen you get too. But you don't really need to read/watch these to get the gist of the story, and can skip them. This game really needs Achievements, even if they're only tied to The Other Side: Tower of Souls in-game achievements.. Decent bundle of hidden object games. Quality varies between the games. Lake House and The Other Side are quite good. The rest are merely average. Worth picking up on sale if you like HOGs.. Bought it on a discount and found it worth my money. 4 of the 6 were very interesting, two felt like they didn't put a lot of effort into the story. One of them was very challenging.. Great (and cheap) HOG collection. Some of the better art and settings I've seen in this genre. Lots of variety, and very colorful. Mexicana was my favorite, though some of the "puzzles" just consisted of "click this thing a few times". Some of the stories are actually interesting, too. A rare thing in HOG games.. I love all of these games except Panocopia freezes when it gets to a certain spot and I cannot get out of it. I have uninstalled the package and reinstalled it and it still does not work. Very disappointing.. If you can get this at a deep discount, it won't feel like a rip-off. I got it cheap, thankfully. That said, I didn't particularly enjoy the majority of this bundle. The Lake House had an okay story (for a Hidden Object Game (HOG)), but all the rest either had awful stories (Mexicana) or boring\/lazy stories (Kronville Stolen Dreams. Plot twists are cringe-worthy, and the characters weren't interesting or very likable in any of the games. A few of the puzzles were fairly nonsensical as well (pouring pepper on an octopus...).The art in these games is on par with most decent HOGs, and visually, they look pretty good. That said, with so many HOGs out there, the only reason to play through this collection is just to play through some HOGs you haven't completed before. I cannot imagine myself revisiting any of these games in this bundle except for The Lake House. Replaying other HOGs would generally be far more fun in my opinion. In closing, I cannot stress enough how stupid Mexicana's storyline is, though. The big reveals are maddening.. The bundle is worth the money for sure, and if you're into Hidden Object games i doubt you'll be disappointed with the games. The difficulty of the games vary but none are too difficult to get through.Definitely worth your time.
